Left menu filters
Use Warehouse to show documents for one warehouse. Use Location to filter by the short location code only, for example H60 or HA01. Use PN to find documents that contain a part number with the typed characters.
Create a document
Press New stock taking in the left menu. In Fill stock taking by, choose the warehouse, filter locations if needed, keep the required locations checked, then press Submit. The system fills the document with current stock for the selected warehouse and locations.
Open and edit
Press Details in the document list. Draft documents can be edited. Submitted documents are kept for review. In the document, check the date, warehouse, status and notes before submitting.
Count by scanner
Press Scan batch, scan the 12 digit batch barcode, then enter the counted quantity. If the package was found in a different cell, scan its 5 digit Counted location barcode. The system asks whether the full system quantity should be moved from the recorded cell to the counted cell. Confirm the move to keep the entered quantity as Fact qty; the transfer is attributed to the user who confirms it. A scanned batch outside the locations initially used to fill the document is added automatically when the count is applied. If the batch does not yet exist in Cabin, the system checks the Quantum import, imports its PN and description, and creates a linked stock correction without separate operations. Press Enter or Apply to add the count; the scan window stays ready for the next batch.
Manual correction
You can type Fact qty directly in the line. The difference is calculated against the system quantity. If the counted package is in another cell, select the new location in the line. Use Show movements to open the full batch history; each movement can open its source document.
Save or submit
Save draft stores the count without posting adjustments. Submit posts the stock taking result. For a confirmed location change, the full system quantity is moved first; the difference to Fact qty is then recorded as a shortage or surplus adjustment in the counted location.
